Join sculptor Lee Borthwick for a relaxing foray into the art of pyrography. Suitable for beginners, these workshops explore a range of drawing techniques and pattern making using the wood burning pen and English woods. We will look at the range of applications for pyrography, create tactile natural samples, and conclude by adorning your own beech presentation board suitable to take home.

Attendees of the ‘Scorched Wood’ class leave with a chopping board, a coaster, samples and a tin of homemade wood wax so they can care for their tableware.

The workshops are being hosted at our beautiful studios on Pretoria Road North in Upper Edmonton.

Class Size

Suggested class size is 8.

Suitable for

Complete beginners, 18+.

What’s included:

A selection of natural timbers to draw on, one English hardwood chopping board and a tin of wood butter. Dust masks also provided.

Additional wood bundles ready for drawing on can be purchased on the day to take home or following the class.
